Project Technical Demolition & removal Of 6 Steel Quayside Cranes.
A licensed specialist was used to remove all of the notifiable asbestos from within the
cranes, before the technical demolition started.
Following the removal of the asbestos, 2 small wheeled cranes were used in conjunction
with a technical cutting crew to remove the jibs from each dockside crane, these were
lowered to the ground and processed into smaller pieces.
The technical cutting crew proceeded to cut the cranes in strategic areas so that they
could be brought to the ground in a safe manner, causing no injuries or damage to the
surrounding area. the cranes were then processed by the cutting crew and excavators
with suitable attachments.
All of the scrap was removed from site leaving the area clean & tidy.
